• History: The circuit Mont-Tremblant was built in 1964 by the visionary Léo Samson. In spite some problems, the circuit was the first true circuit in Quebec. In 1966, the circuit presented the very first Can-Am race. In 1968 and 1970, the Formula 1 World Championship visit the circuit. In 1967 and 1968, it's the Indy Car and the Trans-Am cars which came 6 times. In spite of a revival at the end of the Seventies, the circuit was in a bottom. Thanks to the Club L'Équipe, the circuit went up the slope since 1985. Races of the various Canadian championships of the time race each year with, at the end of the year, the Canadian Run-Off for all the classes in Canada.

In September 99, the Circuit presented its last event before an important project of restoration. With its reopening in 2002, the Circuit Mont-Tremblant found its nobility of the past with the return of events internationals with amongst other things the Grand-Am Series.

• Historique: Le circuit du Mont-Tremblant a été construit en 1964 par le visionnaire Léo Samson. Malgré des hauts et des bas, le circuit a été le premier vrai circuit au Québec. En 1966, le circuit présentait la toute première épreuve de la série Can-Am. En 1968 et 1970, le Championnat du Monde de Formule 1 est venu visiter le circuit. En 1967 et 1968, ce sont les Indy Car et les voitures Trans-Am qui sont venues à 6 reprises. Malgré une relance à la fin des années 70, le circuit était dans un bas. Grâce au Club l’Équipe, le circuit remonta la pente à partir de 1985. Des épreuves des différents championnats canadiens de l’époque étaitent présentées avec, en fin d’année, la finale de toutes les classes d’amateurs au Canada.

En septembre 99, le Circuit présentait sa dernière épreuve avant un important projet de rénovation du circuit. À sa réouverture en 2002, le Circuit Mont-Tremblant a retrouvé sa noblesse d'antan avec le retour d'événements internationals avec entre autre la série Grand-Am.
